MikeGabbard.com offers you the opportunity to sign up to volunteer
with the campaign or donate online. We do not collect or maintain
any personal information unless you provide us with your name,
address, city, state, zip, and email address.
- How we use log files to better serve you
We use log files to assess the aggregate level of traffic to
MikeGabbard.com including what pages people are visiting, and
to diagnose any potential problems with the Web site. This log
file does contain an “Internet Protocol” or IP address
that gives us insight on the general geographic area that visitors
are coming from but not information on a specific individual.
We do not use log files to track a particular individual’s
use of MikeGabbard.com.
- Information collected when you donate
When you make a contribution to Mike Gabbard - State Senate,
State Campaign Spending laws require us to obtain the following
information: name, mailing address, employer, occupation, and
amount of contribution. State Campaign Spending laws require
Mike Gabbard - State Senate to report the name and address of
each donor who contributes more than an aggregate of $100. The
campaign must also report the occupation and name of employer
for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess
of $1,000. Contributions from corporations, government contractors,
foreign nationals without a “green card,” and minors
(individuals under the age of 18) are prohibited. Any credit
card information provided is only used to immediately process
your donation. Mike Gabbard - State Senate does not retain your
credit card information once the donation is processed online.
- We do not retain information when you forward a message
MikeGabbard.com contains numerous opportunities for
a visitor to forward documents, photos, and messages to friends
and family. This information is only used to forward that
visitor’s message and is not retained or used by MikeGabbard.com
for any other purpose.
- We ask that children under 18 do not submit their
information
In accordance with the Federal Children’s Online
Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) MikeGabbard.com does
not knowingly collect information from children. You must
be at least 18 years old to sign up for email news, or make
an online credit card contribution. Mike Gabbard - State
Senate encourages parents to participate actively in their children’s
